SCI 1070 - Food for Thought [LGNR7] The course addresses food production systems from biological, ecological, nutritional, and historical perspectives. Students will consider the environmental impacts and sustainability of food production using an ecosystem models approach. The course will demonstrate to students the role of dietary choices in building more sustainable food systems and healthier populations, and will teach students to draw connections between their own food choices and environmental impacts on all scales.
Prerequisites & Notes There are no prerequisites. There is a lab fee. This course is offered every semester.
