PSY 3280 - Interventions for Health-Behavior Change This online course will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the key issues, theories, and models in health psychology. Evidenced-based interventions for health behavior change will be emphasized. A partial listing of health-behavior topics to be covered includes substance use, safe-sex practices, dietary change, physical activity, and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). Although the class does not meet online during a specified time there are lectures, written assignments and activities that require at least biweekly access to the LSC Website. Successful participation in the course requires students to have access to a computer with an internet connection.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisites are PSY 1010 and sophomore standing, or permission. This course is offered online every summer.
