CIS 3050 - Algorithms and Data Structures The course includes advanced programming topics dealing with logical structures of data and the design and analysis of computer algorithms operating on these structures. Topics covered include a broad variety of data structures, algorithms and their applications including linked lists, various tree organizations, hash tables, strings, storage allocation, algorithms for searching and sorting, and a selected collection of other algorithms. Programs to give students experience in algorithms, data structure design and implementation will be assigned.
Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisite is CIS 2032 or CIS 2142. This course is offered every spring.
