CHE 1032 - General Chemistry II [LGSE8] This is the second course of a two-semester sequence that provides an introduction for Science and Exercise Science (2-semester chemistry requirement only) majors to the principles of chemistry. The second semester topics include behavior of gases, liquids and changes of state, properties of solutions, chemical equilibrium, acids and bases, solubility and complex equilibria, electrochemistry, introduction to organic chemistry, and the chemistry of the representative and transition metal elements. The course requires three classroom hours and one 2 hour lab per week.
Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisite is CHE 1031. There is a lab fee. This course is offered every spring.
