SPL 2020 - Sport Ethics and Social Issues This course is designed to allow students to examine contemporary social and moral issues confronting sport leaders. Through an analytical framework students will develop necessary tools to make moral and ethical decisions. The course employs several models that can be used as a platform for ethical decision-making. Students will also engage in case-study analysis for practical application skills. Topics include sportsmanship, performance-enhancing drugs, cheating, violence, Title XI, and gambling.
Prerequisites & Notes This course is offered every spring.
