MRM 1010 - Leisure and Society [LGGE6] Leisure and Society presents an overview of global historical and philosophical foundations of leisure and recreation, including public and private leisure service delivery systems. It provides a conceptual basis for the evolution of leisure and work in relation to social, economic, and environmental factors in the context of mountain and community-based recreation, tourism, and hospitality. Career paths in leisure-related services are examined, along with trends and issues facing the profession.
Prerequisites & Notes There is a lab fee. This course is offered every semester.
