ATM 2210 - Geophysical and Human Interactions [LGNR7] This course examines the interactions among humans, the earth, and the atmosphere. Topics include the human impact on weather, climate, tropospheric pollution, ozone, precipitation acidification, desertification, and biogeochemical cycles. Societal, health, and economic impacts of these phenomena on the human condition are explored. Policy, mitigation, and adaptation strategies to our changing climate are discussed.
Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisite is ATM 2060. There is a lab fee. This course is offered every even-numbered spring.
