OEL 1128 - Level I Avalanche and Companion Rescue

This course focuses on recognition of avalanche terrain, planning and preparation for travel in avalanche terrain, applying the decision making framework, and learning effective companion rescue techniques. Students successfully completing the course earn course completion from American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) for their Recreational Level I and Companion Rescue course.
