PSY 5140 - Women in Psychology


This course presents an in-depth exploration of attitudes toward women in psychology and their roles in the profession. The research methods used in theory building will be examined for their impact on women. Contributions of women psychologists will be emphasized. Most of the course time will be spent reading the ideas on women of the psychological theorists from the psychoanalysts to the feminists.

Prerequisites & Notes
The prerequisite is nine hours in Psychology.
