BIO 2240 - Survey of the Animal Kingdom [Choice:NS] The course takes students on a journey through the animal kingdom, from animal-like protists, to invertebrate molluscs, worms, and arthropods, to the vertebrates: fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Elementary principles of ecology introduce the course. Laboratory time focuses on live and preserved representatives of each animal group. The course requires three classroom hours and one two-hour lab per week.
Prerequisites & Notes There is a lab fee. This course is offered every spring.
