This course explores the ideas that have inspired behavioral scientists in their studies of human behavior around the world and throughout time. It focuses on an analysis of the development of social and anthropological theories - from August Comte to Jared Diamond - that have been instrumental in the emergence of anthropology and sociology as academic disciplines.
