ART 3070 - Illustration: Methods and Practice

This studio course focuses on providing the student an increased understanding of the art of illustration. Students will continue to develop drawing and conceptual skills, their own distinct illustration style. There is a focus on creating and using photo references to aid in the illustration process, typographic skills, and the ability to communicate visually through illustration, in traditional and/or electronic media. Students will continue to learn about the business of illustration.

Prerequisites: ART 2270  and formal acceptance into the program.
