EJA 2130 - Local News Gathering This course introduces the skills of gathering and writing news for multiple platforms. Anchored to the specific geographic coverage area of the Vermont Center for Community Journalism, the instruction explores such topics as identifying stories and sources, the interviewing process, back-grounding, computer assisted and other basic news reporting & producing techniques that apply no matter the location.
Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisites are ENG 1052, EJA 1010, EJA 1020 and ENG 2040, or permission. There is a lab fee. This course is offered every semester.
