ENG 3010 - Advanced Composition and Rhetoric
[Choice:HU] This course offers advanced study of and practice in analytical, argumentative, persuasive, and expository writing, as well as rhetorical strategies. There is a substantial focus on the formal aspects of writing: grammar, mechanics, syntax, structure, and style. In addition, the course explores logic and rhetoric, techniques of rational and emotional persuasion, and the power of language.
Prerequisites & Notes
The prerequisite is ENG 1052 or permission. There is a lab fee. This course is offered every spring.
