ATM 1030 - Elementary Oceanography
[LGSE8] [Choice:NS]This course presents an introduction to oceanography, is designed primarily for non-science students, and includes a lab. The course discusses life in the ocean, the composition of sea water, waves, tides, currents, ocean basin formation, and environmental issues related to the oceans.
Prerequisites & Notes
The prerequisite is Basic Math competency (MAT 0010 and MAT 0221). There is a lab fee. This course is offered every even-numbered summer and spring semesters.
