MBI 4810 - Music and Performing Arts Internship


This course is intended to prepare a student for the demands of a career in the music or performing-arts industry. Students will identify potential internship opportunities, develop learning objectives appropriate to the chosen internship, and prepare a professional resume. During the course, students will contact and secure a site supervisor who will oversee the student’s progress throughout the internship. Students will negotiate a contractual agreement with the site supervisor and will coordinate activities through their faculty supervisor. Students may not enter into an internship agreement before enrolling in this course.

Prerequisites & Notes
The prerequisite or co-requisite is MBI 3810 and junior standing. There is a course fee. This course is offered every spring semester.
